Monday, 4/25: Self Assessment and work time

STARTER: Self-assessment

1. Read through the self-assessment with an eye to making sure you understand what each category on the rubric means. Write down any questions you have. Keep the hardcopy, but feel free to complete it electronically in google classroom. Self-assessment is due THURSDAY by the end of class.
2. Then, on the notecard, write your NAME and then your work time goals for each day this week, including homework.

EXAMPLE:
Monday:  

• Write 2 pages and make sure to work on "showing v telling"
• Homework: write 1 more page

Tuesday: 

• Work on my 20% project action items (LIST THESE)​
• Homework: Keep working on 20% action items

Wednesday: NO CLASS

• Homework: Work on my 20% project goals

Thursday:  

• In class: Write the last page of my story and complete the self-assessment and TURN THAT INTO ASHLEY.
• Homework: Finish my conclusion make sure I'm showing my theme clearly in my conclusion. Double check to make sure I've formatted the story correctly

​Friday: Rough draft due start of class- we might have some time to refine/add onto it in class, but not a ton as we have gear check AND Humanities candidates' guest teaching  that day as well.

• Rough draft is due Friday, start of class.
• Bears Ears group gear items!  What did you sign up to bring for your advisory? Don't forget to bring it on FRIDAY!
• Everyone: On Friday, bring in your PACKED bag for the Bears Ears trip with everything on the gear list. We're doing a gear check on Friday.
• No Humanities class on Wednesday due to Freshmen Explore career panel/fair.
